This Privacy Policy explains what personal data PRCStock.COM collects, why, and what rights you have over it.

1. Data we collect

When you use PRCStock, we collect:

• Account data: name, email, phone, password (stored encrypted).
• Company data: company name, address, country, registration details you choose to provide, certifications.
• Content you provide: listings, requests, messages, uploaded photos and documents.
• Usage data: pages visited and basic technical information (browser, IP address) for security and analytics purposes.

2. Why we process your data

We process personal data on these legal bases:

• Performance of a contract — to create your account and provide the marketplace service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interest — to keep the platform secure, prevent fraud, and improve the service.
• Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information by law.

3. Who we share it with

We share data with other users only as needed for the platform to function (e.g. a buyer's contact request is shared with the relevant supplier). We share data with our warehouse operator in Klaipėda for sample handling, and with service providers who help us run the platform (e.g. email delivery, hosting). We do not sell personal data to third parties or use it for third-party advertising.

4. Data retention

We retain account and transaction-related data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. International transfers

As a platform connecting China-based suppliers with EU-based buyers, business contact information (not sensitive personal data) may be visible to users in both regions as part of the normal functioning of the marketplace — this is inherent to how the platform works and is limited to what a user chooses to make visible on their profile and listings.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted password storage, access controls, and secure hosting. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
